Apple picking! Pumpkin patch! Fall family photo sessions! The fair! Football watch parties! Hayrides! Corn mazes! Haunted houses! Halloween! Thanksgiving! Exclamation points!
It can be a lot for some and a time of fomo for others, so here are some tips to have your best fall ever.

How to Thrive this fall as an Introvert
- Prioritize the activities that really matter to you and say HARD PASS to everything else. Doing this leaves margin for popup activities that you may regret missing.
- Remember you actually do love your family you’re just overstimulated or drained.
- You are responsible for your schedule and energy, no one else, so schedule in what you need and don’t let the calendar get away from you.
- Give grace to your extroverted loved ones who live for this busy social season! Let them have this!
- Communicate early and often if you are spent. Go to an event for a while and leave early, letting people know you love them but you can only handle so much before you get stabby. No one wants that.
- Remember this season is fleeting, find the right balance to enjoy it to the fullest.
How to thrive this fall as an Extrovert
- This is your moment, make plans! Take it upon yourself to find the fun things to do and invite others. Don't stressed if you're not super organized or a "take-charge" type, just get the ball rolling.
- Offer to host parties and activities because many people are too drained to do so. Even if you're not the hostess with the mostess, together is better than perfect!
- For more social time offer for friends to join you for things they’d do anyway; meals, errands, shopping for gifts, etc.
- Consider some low key one-on-one activities rather than big get togethers.
- Don’t hesitate to tell your family and friends when you’re depleted and lonely, they love you!
- Give your introverted loved ones some grace and don’t expect them to come to and/or enjoy every activity.
How to Thrive this fall as an Ambivert
- Check in with yourself often because fall can go from fun to frantic in one hot pumpkin spiced second.
- That's really the only tip I can think of for you balanced, normal, sane people. See how you're feeling and apply the tips above depending on your energy scale from intro to extro!
Pro Tip:
Of course you will thrive even more if you're sporting a super soft, cozy hoodie or sweatshirt from our introvert or ambivert collections!
